Terms of service

These terms govern your use of Aurora Minds at https://auroraminds.com (the “Service”), operated by , (“we”, “us”). By using the Service you agree to them. If you are buying for a child, you confirm you are their parent or guardian and at least 18 years old.

1. What the Service is

Aurora Minds publishes interactive school lessons (“chapters”). Some chapters are free. Others are available through a monthly family plan or as a single-chapter purchase. Chapters are for personal, non-commercial use by the members of one household.

2. Accounts

  • You sign in with an email address; we send a one-time link. Keep your inbox secure — anyone with access to it can use your account.
  • One account per household. You may not share, resell or publicly display paid chapters.
  • We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or that we reasonably believe is being used fraudulently.

3. Prices and payment

  • The family plan costs ₹149 per month. A single chapter costs ₹49. Prices include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise at checkout, and may change with notice on the site; changes never apply to a period you have already paid for.
  • Payments are processed by Razorpay. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details. Razorpay's own terms apply to the payment itself.
  • The family plan renews automatically every month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account page; access continues to the end of the period you have paid for and no further charge is taken.
  • If a renewal fails, we will keep your access for a short grace period while Razorpay retries. If it still fails, the plan pauses until payment succeeds.
  • A single-chapter purchase is a one-time payment. That chapter stays available on your account for as long as the Service operates.

4. Refunds and cancellations

Our refund and cancellation policy is part of these terms. In short: cancel the family plan any time and keep access until the period ends; unused first months and chapters that fail to load are refunded on request within 7 days.

5. Your content and conduct

The Service has no chat, comments or uploads. You agree not to copy, scrape, reverse-engineer, redistribute or frame the lessons, or to interfere with the Service or other users.

6. Our content

Lesson text, diagrams, animations, narration and software are owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright. Facts and sources cited inside lessons belong to their respective publishers and are credited on the page. Lessons are written to follow the school syllabus (for example NCERT) but are not affiliated with or endorsed by NCERT, CBSE or any board.

7. Children's use

Children use lessons under a parent's or guardian's account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; see our privacy policy.

8. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may add, change or retire chapters and features. If we discontinue the Service entirely, we will give active subscribers at least 30 days' notice and refund any prepaid period beyond the closing date.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is an educational aid provided “as is”. We do not guarantee examination results. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at the location of our registered office stated above. Consumers retain any rights they have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
